I would imagine every kid dreams of living in a real Fire Station: Sliding down the pole in the morning for Breakfast, or climbing up the tower for a secret hideaway. I felt that same excitement when asked to stage this remarkable historic Pasadena firehouse. Originally commissioned in 1917 by The City of Pasadena, noted architect Joseph Blick designed Firehouse #34 for safety and sound function. We got to bring a little bit of ‘style’ to the function ? This historic landmark was converted into a lovely family home, and is our biggest residential project to date at 4,310 sq. ft. of vacant space. Yes, we went all out! Yes, we got the pole, the fireman outfit and helmet, the dalmatian by the door, and the RC firetruck in the family room. Yes, we hung curtains from the pergola and lanterns from the tree. No effort was spared.
